A name from the shadows.
Opened in 2006, before “craft cocktail” was standard barroom vocabulary. What emerged is part neighborhood corner tavern, part 1940s cocktail lounge. Weegee’s Lounge takes its name from Arthur “Weegee” Fellig, the photographer whose stark flashbulb images captured another side of city life. That spirit lives here: classic cocktails, low light, and a welcome with no pretense.

An old-school shuffleboard table keeps the competition friendly. Out back, an intimate patio beneath the oak tree offers a quiet escape. We’re a neighborhood tavern with a taste for another era, right here in Logan Square, Chicago.
